we have withdrawn from the crowborough league and will be playing local friendlys until the end of the season, with matches at least every other week. we were unable to entrer the rother league at this late stage

TRAINING TUES 19TH JAN 2010 ]is on with graham and duncan, this is my last week of working away and normal service will resume next week.



Please can i have a dedicated volunteer to help with a couple of tasks on match days, it is increasingly difficult to carry out all of the organisation necessary to ensure the matches run smoothly for the boys and some assistance would be a great help.

i am looking for a match report writer including taking down scores for the matches and who scored what etc.
this is not a big job as the report simply needs to be a few words on the game and needs to be e-mailed over to me within a day or so following the match, this would be a big help as i am aware i am falling behind with this aspect of the web page and i know the boys reallly want to see this info.

i am also looking for a couple of mums or dads to offer their services as a referee for our away, home fixtures. if need be the club will pay £10 per game to the persons refereeing, but i do not want to get tiedd up reffing games as it means i cannot coach the boys.

we are playing in the crowborough league, it appears the premier league has been postponed due to a team dropping out at the last minute, i am still awaiting confirmation on this, we will be playing every other saturday and will be playing 2 matches back to back

A NOTE TO ALL PARENTS:
From September when we play in the new competitive league we will be fielding our strongest available team each week. We will be taking substitutes to cover injuries and tactical changes but will play them as and when necessary rather than on a rotation basis. It is important that all parents are aware of this and accept this prior to signing on for the league, to avoid any unnecessary upset once the season starts.
