Sedlescombe rangers under 6's 2006/7 (25/07/07)
The squad started as a result of my youngest son Alexander wanting to play in a team of children his own age, he has been watching Ben his older brother training and playing with Fred Hams under 9's squad since he could walk and has kicked a football around for about as long, so with the help of Duncan Boon we formed the team, for the first season the emphasis was purely on training and fun with myself and Duncan spotting some good young players emerging, the squad currently sits at about 24 players attending each week, and early in 2007 we enlisted the help of Nigel Morgan the blues goalkeepers dad and Phil Curran the dad of one of the blues defenders to help as coaching assistants. we are about to go into our first league season and will be fielding 2 sides, with myself running the Blue team and Phil Curran running the white team and we are expecting a good first season. Good luck to all involved
