Tournament Bexhill

What a DAY:: Tournament Bexhill, Gunters Lane Under 9s played up a gear today for a great challenge and played in the under 10s at Bexhill Tournament. We won four games against the very strong under 10s sides and and lost one game against Bexhill. This put us into the semi finals, and what a semi final, nail biting semi which went to extra time and then to penalties. Five players step up for this and were very composed when taking there shots. 1st Jackson cool as a cucumber, then James Hopkinson no problems and then Milo, bang into the corner no misses yet, it was then Darcy who whacked it in, then James B to finish the job off had to score to win and thorough to the finals.. Ryan Page was in goal all day and he was amazing. Callum was on left wing and had a brillant day of football. Well done team 5 clear goals, Bexhill missed 2 and we then moved on to the next battle, the final against Bexhill Youth and what a final. starting with Sedlescombe having a early shot and just going over the bar. We tried our very best but Bexhill Youth was older and more stronger in there passing. The final score 3 Bexhill Youth 0 Sedlescombe Rangers. A outstanding performance from the under 9s at this level.
Well done Guys, really played well today and showed your true strenghts.
