This was our last scheduled fixture of the season and what a great game it was ! A 2-2 draw, wilth some really good football played by both side. Westfield taking the lead with a speculative long range shot , though a crowd of players , with a unsighted GK, good goal ! Sed. eg
qualised with a good finish from Matt Constable , after good work from Jonathan,and Wills in midfield. We enjoyed the lions share of the possession, chances being created and some fine goalkeeping by the Westfield keeper. Sed took the lead with a fine finish by Jake, after great work by Wills on the left. Westfield equalisied with a wonderful individual goal and at the end I think everyone went home happy !!!!
I would like to mention the fine fare on offer at the Cafe Noon, which went down a treat with all, well done John !!!! Perhaps we think of maybe a rota of parents to man the kitchen for home games, your thoughts please!!
I think we can see the progress that all the boys have made this season, but please remember this is a marathon and not a sprint and the boys will develop at different rates, so patients is the word, as long as a lad is keen and wants to playwe have something to work with. Ash
