SRFC Tournament for 2010 is on Friday16th, Sat. 17th., and Sunday 18th July. I'm not sure what day the U8's are playing but we will be entering 2 teams, so please make every effort to keep this weekend free. The Friday is for a Senior Tournament, somethng we have never held before. We need as many helpers as possible, whether it be on the BBQ, carpark or the drinks stall, so all help would be appreciated. More details ASAP.

U8's Blues game agianst Hastngs Pumas is AWAY at Harrow Lane rec (Off ridge, at mini roundabout past Harrow Pub,past shops, up grass bank on left). 8.30 meet for 9am KO . Should this be called off we will try to rearrange the fixture at Sedlescombe but that also looks unlikley due to the rain. If you DO NOT get a text by 6pm Friday confirming the game it is OFF.

Sorry to say our game against Guestling on Sat. 13th Feb as been cancelled due to snow on the pitch. Sunday morning at Claremont is still ON, so all U8's are welcome at 11am

We will be playing on Saturday 18th, in the morning. We must register by 8.30, so meet at 8.15 - 20. We have entered two teams to play 6-a-side, so please let us know if you can't make it. Presentation Day starts at 12.00pm on the 20th. of June. We are second on at 2pm. so please be there in good time !!!! , say 1ish would be good . Please bring your own seating, chairs rugs etc and any adult drinks for yourself, beers , wine , oj etc.

On Saturday 9th of May , the East Sussex Mini Minor League are holding there Presentation Day at Westfield FC. We are included in this event and need to send a team. The games KO at 9.30 and finish at 10, so we will only take a team plus 1 sub. As of yet I do not know how many lads are in a team but will find out and let you know.
Could you all bring your kits back asap, so we can check it !!

Please note we have entered a team in the Sovereign Saints Tournament on Sunday the 3rd of May. We need to know if all 10 Blue team boys are available for this event. The reason being we can only enter 8 boys in a team. We have arranged a friendly against the "New U7's" for next year for the White Team and anyone who can't make the Sov. Saints Tourn. This will be a 10.30 ko down at the pitch, with either Matt or myself runnning the team.
We are also entered in the Westfield Tournament which is Sat. 16th of May , am. Boys not involved with the Sov.Saints Tourn will be included in this team and we might run 2 teams if there are enough boys available, although we have only booked in one at the moment.
The Sov.Saints Tournament is at the Eastbourne Sports Park,Cross Levels Way, Eastbourne, BN21 2UF.
We will select our 8 from who's available for Sunday and text you ! Please DO NOT be concerned if your son?child is not included in Sunday's team, they will a game in the Westfield Tounament.
We would like you all to spend a little time thinking about a"Supporters Player of the Year". I'll try to get some voting forms out for training in Wednesday.
We know times is hard but if there is any chance of a new kit sponsor for next season we would be greatful. A new kit is in the region of £395 for 15 sets + gk kit, anfd includes all club badges and sponsors name,logo etc. We would only need perhaps 12 kits , so this would cut the price to £316 ish !!!!!!
Also we have been asked about hiring the pitch/pavilion for kids birthday party's etc, YES is the answer, The rental of the facility is in the region of £25 and if you need any further info contact Ash on 870615

PLEASE NOTE: The 2009 SRJFC Tournament is on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th. of July. The U7's will be playing on the Saturday and we would like to enter 2 teams, providing we have enough boys available. Our Club Presentation Day is Saturday 20th June ,can you all please note this date and make a special effort to attend what is a great day. There are awards iin several sections but the one I need you all to think about is Parents/Supporters Player of the Year (Please note you can't vote for your own child) We will be passing out voting form soon.

We had to call off the home game against Soveriegn Saints due to a frozen pitch. This was done early to prevent Sov. Sts. from travelling here. Not only was the pitch frozen and very white the air temperature was -4 ! The other problem would have been the lines in the frost. Training re-starts on Wed. 7th Jan. 6-7, so we will see you all there , please remember to bring £36 cash or cheque, ta!!!

Due to severe rain and wind the away game against Little Common for today the 13th December 11am KO as been cancelled. See you all on Wednesday, which is our last training before Christmas. I've arranged a friendly against Westfield on Sat. 20th , 10.30 KO. This is for all U7's, please let us know if your child is not available.

Our Home game against Westfield for 29/11/08 as been cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch. We tried to switch game to Westfield School pitch but that is waterlogged too ! I even went over to Bodiam with a view to maybe renting their pitches but they where also flooded. See you at training on Wednesday, Matt & Ash

Our game that had been rearranged from Sat.22 to Sun.23 is now changed back to Sat.22, KO 10.30 meet at changing rooms at 9.45. We now realise that most parents have other club/family commitments on a Sunday planned around us playing on Saturday mornings, so from now on ALL home game will be on a Saturday morning. See you at training tonight or at game on Saturday. If for any reason Sovergein Saints can't make Saturday, we will try to fill in with another team or play a club friendly. Matt & Ash
