Under 10s Blues FA Chelsea Youth Cup Final. What a late Night, but what a game. The boys were all very well behaved and especially by being polite to the players they met. Players like Ashley Cole, Jason Cuddy, Jeffrey Bruma and Branislav Ivanovic to name but a few. We did see John Terry but he was in a rush and security was tight around him. It was a fantastic cup final and the Boys were very impressed with the speed and pace of the game. Thanks to Scott for driving the boys up. I think we need to do this again very soon.
CUP FINAL result Sedlescombe Rangers 0 - 1 Hastings Town. Our Boys played the better football by far today. Hastings was totally out the game first half and did nt know what hit them, even the parents were quite because of the nail biting game. The match could have gone either way and still no Score well into the second half ( I thought EXTRA TIME was coming). Sedlescombe deserved more on the final whistle.
I was really pleased with the teams performance and they win the FAIR Team award for sure.
Thank you to all the parents, Grand Parents and friends for coming along today and giving up your time and support to the boys.
After the Match the team was whisked away in a stretched LIMO and then taken to Ocean Bowling.
I would also like to thank Christies Limos.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
