Well done to Hazza,Liam & the rest of Ninfield School who won the regional 'small schools soccer 7's' cup today and now qualify to the next round which is being held in Brighton... it was a great performance from our boys.

It showed that we have not played in a couple of weeks,we were a bit slow on the up-take and sparton looked strong enough to get ahead.My decision to only have 3 at the back did not work today,so a big WELL DONE to our defence who had their work cut out.
Being 1 up at the break was great but still not comfortable.
Second half was much like the first,in that we both had our chances.
With his first goal for the whites,Alfie made sure,along with Hazza,that we walked away with the 3 points.....good work guys.
Individually,there was some fantastic football shown,but we lacked our usual team presence.
There were a few contenders for man of the match this week.... Eoin-superb goal keeping .... Mat-great awareness & strength in midfield ......
'Man of the match' this week goes to Liam. He seemed to be all over the pitch on hand to help out where needed...well done & keep it up!
